About Careers at Shacks

The automotive Industry offers a wide and interesting range of careers in many different fields and disciplines. Automotive Trades require formal qualification and this starts with an Apprenticeship. Shacks Holden is keen to receive applications from anyone wanting to become a Qualified Automotive Technician, Automotive Spray Painter or Panel Beater.

Sales Consultants specialise in areas such as New Private Buyer Sales, Small to Medium Business Sales or Fleet Sales and Used Car Sales.

Buyer Valuer is a role focusing on the day to day values of used cars.

Clerical Roles exist from Accounting, Debtors, Creditors, Costing and Marketing. All Administration roles require individuals to know several different roles to maintain maximum flexibility.

Labouring Roles are there to help keep stock clean and ready for sale, presentation of premises in first class order and to help pick up and deliver clients’ cars for servicing. Supervision and Management are career development opportunities for those aspiring to leadership roles and eventually senior management.
